It is coming up to two years since CreaTee was first introduced to the market. There are a lot of ups and downs, lessons that we the team at CreaTee have learned. One, in particular, is the topic of “Fear”.
More often than not we see and feel that the parents that are not interested in the brand not due to the lack of interest of the child per se, we hear “I am not creative”, “it is not going to come out nice or good”, coming from the adult themselves. That is why this time round we would like to address that topic and perhaps share with our audience and readers why there should not be fear if doing a creative activities such as CreaTee.
Creativity is fun and only limited by imagination. It’s expression is subjective and cannot really be measured. Remember that. Children also pick up and see that in our actions, reaction. Overcoming fear is a challenge and never simple. This, I fully acknowledge. It is the worry and fear of not being enough that stops the fun and creative energy to flow. Letting that fear go not only helps the child but also the adults at the same time. We have heard and seen the expressed fear in the adults when being creative, but having said that we have also heard numerous times from mums that took the chance, went ahead , designed anyway and said how surprised they were at their own abilities to do the project, their design and how proud they were when it was shown and displayed online.
That brings a smile to our faces hearing such comments. The act of doing something like CreaTee itself, gives a sense of adventure and fearlessness that I am quite sure you as a parent would want to see in a healthy, confident child.
- “We don’t have time”
The fact of the matter is, CreaTee for example, only takes an hour to and hour fifteen minutes to complete. All the components and ideas are all presented, included in the package and pretty straight forward to complete. All that is needed is truly and really just you. We took the hassle of art supply shopping in this case and made it really simple for you the parent the spend precious time with your children.
Those are somethings that team CreaTee has heard over the course of two years. We want to take the fear of creativity out of parents and just focus on the joy that is spending time together and having fun. We really would love to hear your thoughts and comments on this. So comment right below and tell us how we can take away that fear of CreaTee away from you.
Love and smile always,
Keep Creating
Illani
