CreaTee turns 7 Friday September 9. 2022. A good time as any to just go back and see and look at our why.
It is not a one particular thing that triggered the Manshoor sisters to creating CreaTee and building the brand. There were a few, but the main one that stands out was family member’s kids coming to the house but not talking and interacting with other family members but asked for wi-fi password and proceeded to be on their phones. We disconnected wifi during known family gatherings. Also in addition to this, when we asked a 12 year old whether she had started preparing for the new school year , she just looked at her mom and started to meow at us. That was definitely shocking and honestly disturbing to us. We were seeing more and more kids that just lost their sense of communications and expressions with their fellow peers and adults, family members.
This really made us look at what we can do to be of positive impact. We wanted to focus on emotional intelligence, esteem , confidence building using the arts to be an impetus. Mazura Illani Mansboor as a co-founder has firsthand experienced the soul healing and character building, saving nature of the arts. She will always be a huge supporter and proponent of it..
CreaTee is a design-your-own-t-shirt kit made for kids! It's a fun, creative activity that kids love doing and it includes everything you need to have a magical time with!
The stencil is durable and reusable for many other craft activities too. A perfect fun indoor activity. Creating personal wearable art and memories in the process.

All these items were carefully chosen and added to the kit for specific purposes. From each items benefits learning , physical and mental development. We did not forget the element of fun. It took the team 9 months to put thoughts in the items, researching it in every aspect before fully making it in the kit and making it public. We did not spare the quality of the t-shirt. The markers and glue are safe and machine washable. The fabrics won’t fade or fall off too soon.It can be worn for a while with love and pride. We made sure to do our best with that. Hope to carry on that tradition.
